In Dror’s photography, one can see the ordinary landscapes of the artists every day life transformed into abstracted compositions. Resolutely unstaged, these images highlight notions of visual surprise, where the mundane is revealed to be full of mystery. Imitations of psychological revelation are revealed as well, for as the photographer searches for the hidden meanings lurking behind the common place, she exposes her own internal world with all of its projected longings and anxieties. In this way, neglected interior shadows can take on the aspect of markers along the path that the artist takes in her journey towards a safe place.
