Hagit Dror was born in Jerusalem, Israel in 1976. She began photographing at the age of 17, and continued throughout her years of military service. In 1996, Dror moved to New York City to pursue her fine art and commercial photography career. Dror has shown her work in three solo exhibits at Soho Photo Gallery in 1999, 2000 and 2003. In 2005, her work was exhibited in a group show at the Parrish Art Museum, Southampton, New York.

Dror launched her commercial studio, dror-forshee, in 2004 and has produced editorial and advertising and promotional work for such clients as Toshiba EMI, Shocken Publishing and Sanofi Pasteur.
